1. Data We Collect
Vadose collects account information (name, email, organization), environmental data you upload (lab results, documents, site information), and usage analytics to improve the platform. We do not collect data beyond what is necessary to provide our services.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your environmental data is used solely to provide platform functionality — document processing, exceedance screening, AI-assisted analysis, and report generation. We never sell your data. We never use your data to train AI models.
3. Data Security
All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Access is controlled through role-based permissions and row-level security. Multi-tenant isolation ensures your organization's data is never accessible to other tenants.
4. Data Retention
Your data is retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon account cancellation, data is retained for 90 days to allow for reactivation, then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion at any time.
5. Third-Party Services
Vadose uses Anthropic (Claude) for AI features and Voyage AI for document embeddings. Data sent to these services is processed in real-time and not retained for model training. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not share your environmental data with any other third parties.
